A Lake Huron Tradition
The Chantry Chinook Classic Salmon Derby has been a proud tradition on the shores of Lake Huron for over four decades. Hosted by the Lake Huron Fishing Club, the derby was established to celebrate the region’s world-class salmon fishery while bringing the community together in support of conservation, local initiatives, and a shared love of angling.

The Lake Huron Fishing Club is a conservation-based Sports Club formed in 1983 by a dedicated group of anglers on the Ontario shore of Lake Huron.
